More Chieftains Down Range

The British Chieftain main battle tank was, without doubt, the master of the battlefield during its time.

Today, it still serves on the ‘Battlefield’ – but only as a target.

In this continuation  from the first book, Chieftain Down Range, our search for Chieftain continues on live firing ranges in the United Kingdom, in Canada, on Cyprus, and in Kuwait, and Oman.

The images in this book deal with one vehicle family – Chieftain Mk.1 to Mk.11  and its variants. ARVs, ARRVs, AVREs and AVLBs are all covered. Even Chieftain 900 and the Wedge are explored.

All the images capture a moment in time.
